By applying refuse compacting system, landfill capacity will be tripled if compared with conventional method. The system also prevents water pollution in the landfill area as it produces cleaner water infiltration as rainfall directly flows to drainage bypassing the waste. Once the stacked waste surface is covered with soil, the landfill may be used for public facilities among others golf course, sport center or playground.
