United Tractors and Scania Commits for Sustainable Transport System in Indonesia
Climate change is real. One of the triggers for drastic climate change is increasing earth’s surface temperature of greenhouse effect or often called as global warming. The increasing greenhouse gases, especially carbon dioxide (CO2), is a direct impact of fossil fuel vehicles.
Population growth in urban areas and the flow of urbanization are factors that drive requirements for sufficient transportation system to support high mobility and response to the challenges of climate change. Considers current condition of public transportation, people prefer to use private vehicles therefore increasing the level of congestion and causing poor air quality.
Driving the Shift
Scania, -produsen of bus and truck- an international brand from Sweden, has vision that“Driving the Shift towards a Sustainable Transport System” by creating a better mobility for business, society and the environment.
