UT Tips: Replacing Engine Oil and Engine Oil Filter

Disposing The Engine Oil
First, prepare a container to receive the drained oil. Then, look for a drain valve (drain valve) at the bottom of the engine. Please be careful! You need open the drain valve slowly because immediately after the engine is stopped, the oil temperature is still in hot condition.
UT Tips Note: Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
Replacing Engine Oil Filter
Open the engine oil filter by using a special tools (key) by rotating the filter cartridge in a clockwise direction. Then dispose the oil in the container into a special disposal that you have prepared. Take a new oil filter cartridge then fill it with the same clean engine oil.
UT Tips Note:
Fill the oil from the small holes around the sieve (do not fill the oil through the large holes in the center of the sieve).
The next step is to lubricated the packing surface and screw the new oil filter container with clean engine oil (or coat it with a thin oil) to avoid damage during installation and tightening of the oil filter container.
After the oil is added, attach the oil engine fitter by tighten it into 3/4 until 1 round as counterclockwise.
Open drain valve slowly until the oil has emerged. Then open it until the engine oil pan runs out. Lastly, you might close the drain valve and tighten it securely.
Fill the Engine Oil
After replacing the oil filter, add engine oil through the engine oil filler located on the right or left of the engine. Fill with engine oil through oil filler port according to specifications and the amount recommended by the OMM to the midpoint between H and L marks on dipstick as the picture bellows.
Run the engine at low idle for a moment, then stop the engine. Check that the oil level is between H and L marks on the dipstick. Last, you need to clean all of the work place and ensure there is no oil is spilled on the ground to avoid environmental pollution.
UTtips Note: Dispose of used oil and used oil rags in the special container you are providing.
