One step ahead of the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. P.20/MENLHK/SETJEN-KUM.1/3/2017 concerning Quality Standards for Exhaust Gas Emissions for New Type Motor Vehicles Category M, N, and O or Euro 4, which will be inaugurated on April 7th, 2022, UD Trucks Quester with Euro 5 emission standard has also complied with the rules for the use of B30 diesel fuel. UD Trucks Quester Euro 5 with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System
The launch of the UD Trucks Quester product line with Euro 5 emission standards is also supported by Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. This system ensures lower exhaust emissions with minimized nitrogen oxide (NOX). It is also compatible with the use of B30 diesel fuel. This technology converts NOX into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor by injecting AdBlue® liquid into the exhaust gasses before passing through the Catalytic Converter. With this technology, the performance and efficiency of the engine will stay the same since all additional components only work after the exhaust gasses leave the engine. The AdBlue® indicator can be seen on the vehicle cluster instrument so that users can easily monitor the amount of AdBlue® on the vehicle when it is operating. The launch of UD Trucks products with Euro 5 emission standards aligns with the tagline “Drive for Better”.
