Soil Compaction Optimization Through Bomag Evib Meter Technology

This technology is dependable and easy to use during soil compaction process. BEM could display real-time density value in ”mN/m2” unit on the single drum roller’s analog display, so the operator could easily detect soil density value in the compacted area.
In construction business especially road construction and others infrastructure projects, this technology could help customers in measuring soil density to get optimum compaction results.
For example, road construction project which layered up to 100 cm and compacted every 20 cm, the soil density could be measured by taking soil sample to the laboratory or using other field test equipment such as Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) or Standard penetration test (SPT).
